Patienten in englischer Sprache empfangen und begleiten
Im Umgang mit ausländischen Patienten, die über keine oder nur unzureichende Deutschkenntnisse verfügen, fehlen einem manchmal die Worte. Wer hat sich nicht schon oft gefragt, wie man etwas auf Englisch sagt? Dieser Beitrag befasst sich mit typischen Situationen aus dem Praxisalltag und will Ihnen dabei helfen, Ihre berufsbezogenen Englischkenntnisse zu erweitern und einzuüben.
Beispiele für unterschiedliche Gesprächssituationen
Patient 1
Patient: Good morning. I have to see the doctor.
Medical Assistant: Good morning. Do you have any pain?
